Quick answers
How do parents get started?
Choose monthly access on Practice Plans and complete the Stripe payment. For a new subscription, no parent sign-in is required before payment. After payment, use the secure action on the success page or in the confirmation email to create or sign in to the parent account that should manage the subscription.
Does the billing email choose the parent account?
No. The billing email receives payment and setup information, but it never chooses a parent account. The parent-account email may be different. Use the secure account-setup action and explicitly sign in to or create the intended Skill Align account.
Are Exam Packs part of an Online Practice subscription?
No. Released Exam Packs are one-off Year 12 PDF purchases delivered by email. Online Practice is a separate monthly subject service that uses student logins and online practice sessions.
How do senior Mathematics and English practice items work?
Senior Mathematics pathways and English courses are selected separately, so families pay only for what the student studies. All chosen items still combine into one monthly subscription. TASC Level 2 and Level 3 versions of the same English course are grouped as one item.
How is subscription student access initialised?
After confirmed payment, Skill Align prepares one separate student login for each purchased year level. Subjects bought in the same year share that login. The confirmation email shows the login ID and a single-use “Set password and start learning” link; no reusable password is sent by email.
Where do students sign in?
After the first password is set, students use Student Login with their login ID and chosen password. Student credentials are separate from the parent sign-in. A linked parent can also open or copy the student-login page and reset a forgotten password from the dashboard.
What does Student Practice do?
Student Practice lets a student create focused practice sessions using the year level, subjects, and access type available to that student login.
