Getting Started
Start by choosing monthly Online Practice or a one-off Year 12 Exam Pack. New Online Practice customers can pay before parent sign-in, then securely connect the subscription and set the student's first password.
1. Choose the product you need
- Open Practice Plans to review monthly Online Practice items by year level. You can buy monthly Online Practice without signing in first.
- For senior Mathematics and English, choose the exact pathway or course the student studies. Related TASC Level 2 and Level 3 English courses are shown as one grouped item.
- If you already have a parent account that manages a subscription, sign in before checkout when you want to add subjects to or update that existing plan.
- The parent account is used after payment to manage the linked subscription, billing, student logins, progress review, and support.
- Open Exam Packs to browse one-off Year 12 practice-exam PDFs by state and course.
- You do not need a parent account to buy a one-off Exam Pack PDF. Enter the purchaser name and delivery email during checkout.
- Online Practice subscriptions provide ongoing online questions. Exam Packs are separate practice-exam resources purchased once and delivered by email.

2. Complete the Online Practice payment
- Review the selected items and enter the purchaser name and billing email. No Skill Align parent sign-in is required before payment for a new subscription.
- Stripe handles the secure payment. The payment-success page can show the confirmed result without requiring parent sign-in.
- Keep the success page and confirmation email available until parent-account and student setup are complete.
- The billing email receives payment, invoice, parent-setup, and student-access information.
- Your billing email does not automatically create or choose a Skill Align parent account, and it may be different from the email used for that account.
3. Add the paid subscription to a parent account
- Use the secure account-setup action on the payment-success page or in the confirmation email.
- If a parent is already signed in, the page asks to add the subscription to that current account. Otherwise, create or sign in to the account that should manage it.
- You can use any email address you can access for the parent account; a Microsoft account is not required.
- Signing in to the parent dashboard by itself does not add a guest purchase. The secure account-setup action must complete the link.
- Choose the intended account carefully. A paid subscription can be linked to only one parent account. If the selected account already manages a different current subscription, follow the page guidance or contact Support.
- Once linked, the parent can use the dashboard, Billing, and Subscription pages.
4. Set the first student password
- A separate subscription student login is prepared automatically for each purchased year level. Subjects purchased in the same year share one login.
- The confirmation email shows each login ID, its included subjects, and a single-use Set password and start learning link when initial setup is still required.
- No reusable student password is sent by email. The student chooses the first password on the secure setup page.
- Parent-account linking and first-password setup are separate. You can follow the relevant secure links in either order.
- After setup, the student signs in through Student Login with the login ID and chosen password.
- After the subscription is linked, the parent dashboard shows the prepared login. If a subscribed year instead shows Needs setup, select Set up and enter the student's name.
- The parent can later rename the student, reset a forgotten password, open or copy the student-login page, and review completed practice.
- Exam Pack purchases do not create student logins or appear as Online Practice subjects. The purchased files are used from the delivery email.
